This year I decided to try something I've never done and offer a Veterans day mini sessions. I live in Yelm, WA, it's a small town and has a healthy population of military families. It has been a real eye opening experience for me to see how much these families sacrifice. I never realized how many men and women are deployed throughout the whole world and for such long periods of time.
This is the Strate family. Their dad Kyle has been in the army for 18 years! He is currently a First Sergeant. I enjoyed talking with them and listening to the many interesting places the military has taken them
The Strate kids were fun, easy going and up for any of my suggestions. They were a photographers dream. It was easy to see they are a tight knit and loving family.
